White Zombie TABS, sounds, and Movies
I haven't heard anything previous to La Sexorcisto but I'm sure that everything before it is just as good. White Zombie is one of the most original sounding bands I've ever heard. They rock your world with heavy riffs and loud, rumbly vocals.
La Sexorcisto is probably the best, I don't know, its a toss up between that and Astro-Creep. It has a lot of really cool sounding tracks with cool intros. In Welcome to Planet Motherfucker, you realize what metal really is. Then the song leads into the heavy riffs and clean smooth sound of Phsycoholic Slag, without even changing tracks. Another innovative thing is that song that says "only parts of the corpses have been removed". I think it is the oldest CD with a no-music track like that...It's real cool.
Astro-Creep 2000 is the first White Zombie album that I ever heard. Although I prefer songs like Creature of the Wheel and I Zombie, the popular ones are really good too - which doesn't often happen in today's "Alternative" world. Astro creep is the heaviest of the 3 Zombie albums that I've heard an Rob sounds no different than before.
Super-sexy Swinging Sounds was very, very disappointing. I don't really like it at all. the only thing that enticed me to listen to it was that it is White Zombie. More Human than Human on Super-Sexy is probably the best - and it isn't that good. It's a techno album and I don't like it all that much. Hell, you can't say White Zombie isn't diverse!
White Zombie has kinda layed low in the last little while, doing a little bit here and there but nothing really big. They just got off of a tour with Pantera. According to Phil Anselmo, Rob Zombie is a diCk. It is either his way or no way. the concerts didn't even start until after dark, so by the time Pantera go out there, the fans were practically asleep! So much for a great pair.
